  Real-name system for company records and land records

The Hong Kong Companies Registry and the Land Registry announced that starting from November 1, 2021, there will be new arrangements for the inspection of company records and land records.
The searcher must:
(i) Provide identification information (such as name and identification document number);
(ii) Confirm that the personal data in the records obtained through search is unintentionally and will not be used in violation of the "Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance"; and
(iii) Acknowledge that the personal data provided in the "Personal Information Collection Statement" may be disclosed or transferred to law enforcement agencies.

What used to be a simple search job and what you can do has now become complicated, and you will break the law at any time. If you have a legitimate reason, you can contact our company if you need to check the information in the company registry or the land registry.
